Chemistry and Chemical Technology 2024

The 28th student scientific conference “Chemistry and Chemical Technology 2024“ will be held on the 17th of May 2024 in Kaunas, Lithuania.

The main goal of this conference is to encourage student participation in academic activities, deepen their knowledge, arouse their interest in innovations, and share their scientific experience and ideas.

This free event is for students who are interested in chemistry, chemical engineering, and technology.

Official conference languages: Lithuanian and English.

This annual student scientific conference is organized by the Faculty of Chemical Technology (Kaunas University of Technology) in cooperation with the Faculty of Marine Technology and Natural Sciences (Klaipeda University), and the Institute of Chemistry (Faculty of Chemistry and Geosciences, Vilnius University).

Deadline for registration and submission of article or abstract – the 3rd of May, 2024.

Approval of article or abstract acceptance – the 10th of May, 2024.

Conference date – the 17th of May, 2024.

The conference traditionally includes only oral presentations.

  • Official presentations language: Lithuanian or English.
  • The oral presentations should be prepared using the “Microsoft PowerPoint” program (save your “PowerPoint” presentation as .ppt).
  • The time limit for oral presentation: 5-7 min.
  • The best presenters in each section will be awarded.

Presenters can choose to submit an article or an abstract which will be published in electronic conference proceedings:

  • The article or abstract may be submitted in Lithuanian or English languages.
  • The article or abstract should be written with MS Word editor according to the corresponding provided template.
  • The article or abstract must be uploaded during registration in the following formats doc(x) and pdf(x), and specifying the title: chemistry2024_Name_Surname.

Articles:

  • The article can be a minimum of 3 pages and up to 5 pages, including tables and figures. The manuscript must be compiled in a way that the last page would be all filled.

 Abstracts:

  • Template
  • The abstract has to be up to 1 page, including tables and figures.
